Samurai / Crow — the Kamael katana line
The marquee class of the Sakura content wave is the new Kamael "Samurai Crow" line — a 5-stage Kamael fighter progression, and the one custom playable class built into this server. It's a melee katana fighter: soulshots, frontline positioning, and a fast, aggressive kit.
The stages you'll see
Class names you see in the client as you change class:
| Stage | Client name | Change level | Class id |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | Kamael Fighter | creation | 264 |
| 1st change | Ashigaru | 18 | 265 |
| 2nd change | Hatamoto | 38 | 266 |
| 3rd change | Ronin | 76 | 267 |
| Awakening | Samurai | 85 | 268 |
At character creation, pick Kamael → Fighter and choose the "Kamael Fighter's Class Tree" ("the Path of the Samurai"). The class-change levels on this server are 18 / 38 / 76 / 85 — a little earlier than the classic 20/40/76/85 shape, so you awaken into Samurai at 85 like everyone else.
How it plays
- Melee fighter. Get in, hold the line, and keep your soulshots on — same fundamentals as any physical DPS.
- Katana-flavored skill kit. The signature skills display and cast in-client; you'll pick them up as you change class and level.
- Frontline DPS role. Think of it as a Kamael take on the Tyrr Warrior fantasy — walk up, burst, survive — with its own flavor.
Everything in Classes & Builds about dyes, attributes, augments, and gearing applies to the Samurai line too. For where it sits among the other archetypes, see the decision helper.
What to expect on this server
This is a hand-built custom class, so a few honest caveats:
- The core progression (all five stages, class-change chain, and the main skills) is built, deployed, and confirmed to display and cast in-client.
- Retail's skills are a special "Normal Attack Damage" type; the server approximates them with physical-damage skills, so exact numbers differ from retail.
- Roughly a dozen internal / sub-skills (cooldown-resets, a summon-mount, low-HP procs) and some STR-scaling / soulstone mechanics are simplified or not yet in.
Bottom line: treat it as a playable-and-fun signature class, not a 1:1 retail clone. If you want something unique to this server, the Samurai / Crow line is it.
